Asbestos Litigation
The defense of litigation claims in the asbestos arena requires vast trial experience and thorough knowledge of the scientific and legal and aspects of each case. In today's arena, defendants in asbestos-related lawsuits will certainly be presented with protracted litigation involving a myriad of scientific/legal issues and uncertainties of successful resolution of such issues and the claims asserted against them. Successful asbestos litigation defense further mandates that such experience and knowledge is provided in an expeditious and cost-conscious fashion.
Lawyers at Taggart Morton represent premises owners and employers with respect to asbestos-related premises liability and negligence claims in the electrical power generation and paper manufacturing industries. We have successfully resolved through pre-trial settlements and post-trial judgments hundreds of asbestos claims for such asbestos-related diseases as pleural plaques, asbestosis, lung cancer, mesothelioma and other malignancies.
